Only my 2nd time in San Francisco even having lived my whole life in California, just for this gig and just a quick overnighter where I felt like I didn't have enough time to really experience the city. I should really do something about that someday.

This whole trip was thrown together over the course of an hour the Tuesday prior when I was offered a minus $100 Rolling Stones ticket. Booked buses from here to Vegas to Reno to San Francisco and back.

This particular show, I got in early afternoon, was checking for tickets, still not entirely committed to going and not liking what I was pulling. Finally showed up outside and bought a balcony ticket for $40. Then via Daspyknows I got an unexpected upgrade to front row Loge.

No lineage that would be particularily helpful. This comes from a cassette that I bought back in the mid-eighties.
So here's the best I can do:
FM>unknown cassette recorder>unknown generation normal bias cassette>transfer to hd with TEAC R-425 MKII and 16 bit recorder>edit SoundForge 4>flac encode level 7>you

My recording ran a bit slow so I adjusted the pitch about a half a semi-tone. I used the For Britian Only EP to measure correct pitch so it should be pretty accurate.
Not a bad recording, some hiss due to my original tape being on a normal bias tape.
Sorry I couldn't include WDYTWA, MC and UMW but rules are rules. I listed those tracks in case you have them already or ever track them down so you can put them in the right order.
This show was made available on 2 commercial boots as far as I know. One is a record called "No More Mr. Nice Guy" that had most of the show but excludes Model Citizen the other was a cd of the same name but it used only a portion of the show and a few songs were edited down as well. This cassette is from niether the record or cd.

I'm a fan of the Special Forces era and like this show quite a bit, even if Alice's voice isn't in top form. Would be nice if a pre-FM surfaces some day.

Notes from the original taper, all the credits due to him:

I still don't know why Alice Cooper played a free show at a court house but that's what happened. He played a free lunch time show and they set the stage up right on the steps of the court house. You can see people going in and out of the front doors of the Baltimore County District Court House. Maybe Alice had to do some community service or something. I filmed this from the middle of a giant water fall in the middle of the courthouse courtyard (yes, it was turned off). There is a pro shot filmed by local news that was circulated but this is the full show and, as far as I know, never circulated (I did give a couple of copies to friends).

NEW: Alice Cooper live on French TV Special 1982 - 1DVD - pro-shot

Alice Cooper
A Paris TV Special January 14, 1982 TV First Gen VHS to DVD.
French TV special

A friend of mine just recently gave this to me.
He said it was either transferred to DVD from the master broadcasting tapes or a first gen VHS because it is super clean.

It looks amazing considering it's age. I've had serveral versions of this and this is by far superior to all the others.

I did some extended research and it was never released officially.
All songs were re-recorded for this TV special and not available on any official releases.
TV also added fake audience noises during the performances.

NEW: Alice Cooper live in Toronto 1972 - 1DVD - September 2

Alice Cooper Varsity Stadium Toronto Sep. 2 1972 12 min 12 sec NTSC

Aud 8mm with dubbed audio from the same concert.

VHS rip with standalone dvd burner from trade vhs (thanks to the original trader!),generation unknown.

This is an audience 8mm video shot with a hand-held camera and it's fairly choppy.  Most of the video is focused on Alice.  No songs are complete and the audio and video are very roughly synced at best.

This includes the "Street Fight" leading up to Alice's "execution", but not "Killer" where the hanging actually takes place. Also included with "School's Out" is the part where Alice tosses posters out to the audience, saying "You're sicker than I am".

Segments of the following songs are included:
- Intro
- Gutter Cat Vs. The Jets
- Street Fight
- Long Way To Go
- School's Out

??/??/71 "Stone Pony" TV(?) 35 min
Black And White footage from the 'Love It To Death' Tour. Songs played: 'Sun Arise' / 'Caught In A Dream' / 'I'm Eighteen' / 'Is It My Body?' / 'Second Coming' / 'Ballad Of Dwight Fry' / 'Black Juju'(part only).
Not actually filmed at the Stone Pony (it didn`t open until a few years later), but that is how it is always described. The correct venue appears to be Mt. Holly Ski Lodge in Holly, Michigan according to 'Grit, Noise, Revolution: The Birth of Detroit Rock'n' Roll' by David A. Carson which features photos from the same show.
The show is incomplete because apparently the band forgot to collect the second real of film at the end of the show!
Last track, 'Black Juju', often cuts into the version from Medicine Ball Caravan.
